Phillip Andreev - CoFounder / DM
Hello, my name is Phillip Andreev. I’m an avid roleplayer, wargamer, and Dungeon Master from Ireland. By day, I’m a saddler, crafting leatherwork and riding horses on parades for the Cavalry. By night, I run games for friends—or as a professional Dungeon Master in central London. Roleplaying games have given me incredible opportunities, unforgettable adventures, and friendships that will last a lifetime.
With Tales at the Threshold, my goal is to share those same experiences with others: to connect like-minded adventurers, help them weave their own stories, and maybe even make lifelong friends along the way.
Ash Harryman - CoFounder / DM
Hey, I'm Ash. I love rules; making rules, balancing rules, breaking rules, and evidently the rules of business as I started this with Phil. I've been locked into gaming as a hobby ever since my first match on Super Street Fighter on the SNES many moons ago, and have enjoyed experiencing everything the industry has to offer, eventually landing in TTRPGs.
I'm hoping to bring a really curated, finessed event to people when they come to a TT holiday. Somewhere they can get everything they want at a retreat, from great food and drink, to swathes of adventure in our niche hobbies.
Alex - DM
Alex, here! As a Game Master with over a decade of experience across various systems, I aim to craft compelling, player-led stories. At the table I tend toward Theatre of the Mind style games, using vivid descriptions (and silly pop-culture references) to create a cinematic atmosphere and memorable NPCs to interact with.
In former lives, I've been a writer, designer and editor, so I hope to bring something fresh and never before seen to each of my adventures, including mechanics from other systems that I love. I trust players to explore and overcome obstacles on their own terms, with whatever solutions they can imagine. My games are designed to be challenging, exhilarating, and above all: a laugh! I can also be bribed with Pringles.
Ollie - DM
Hi there, my name is Ollie I’m a dedicated player of many table top games and have been running roleplay systems for almost 20 years now. I help to run a London RPG club and try to get involved in all kinds of nerdy events around the city. I’m a professional costume maker by trade and make all kinds of creations.
I've been playing a long running campaign that's been going for over 5 years. I love writing for D&D games, over planning everything with tonnes of characters and places for people to go and visit and then nothing brings me more joy than seeing players run havoc all over those carefully laid plans and having to use the scraps to pull it all back together.
