SYNOPSIS:
The village of Torbryan should have been a quiet stop on your travels, or the familiar comfort of home, but nothing in the Kingdom of Noved is simple any more. When the old King died without an heir, Lord Courtenay seized the throne. His rule began with promise, yet the years have revealed him to be a negligent and tyrannical ruler. Villagers vanish without explanation, monsters roam the countryside, and adventurers are branded criminals unless they bend the knee to Courtenay’s increasingly corrupt military.
